Hello again Dear Readers!
This week has just been crazy, but I did not forget about you 😊. I have been busy with everything PA school and planning my wedding with my wonderful fiancé Ryan!
In the spirit of love being in the air in my life I have decided that I want to post a couple of love songs that have really hit home with Ryan and I.
#1 Let’s Stay Home Tonight by Needtobreathe
This song is one of our favorites because it is just a man singing to his girl about how he just wants to spend more time with her. It is such a fun little song, and it gives me a nice glimpse of what Ryan and I’s life may look like.
#2 Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat
“I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend.” I love this lyric because it is so true. When you find the one that God made special just for you it is like you have known each other for a long time. Ryan and I knew we were meant for each other the day we met, and that is rare for people but in all honesty, we knew that the Lord was with us, and he was pushing us to be together. In the end I cannot imagine anyone else I would want to be married to.
#3 I Was Made For Loving You by Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran
This song is more my favorite than Ryan’s but that is because I truly believe that I was made for loving Ryan. God gave me my special someone and I couldn’t be happier than to love him just as much as God has loved me <3
#4 When I Say I Do by Matthew West
Ryan picked this song for me to walk down the isle to for our wedding. I don’t think I need to say anymore about why this song is important to us.
#5 Dear Future Wife by Cade Thompson
I think the title gives the song away, but this one has been a fun one to listen to while we are cuddling and decompressing from the long days at work we have. Ryan likes it because it is about a man striving to live for God so he can be the man he needs to be for his future wife. He says, “I can honestly relate to this song because I did not have my life together until just before I met you.”
#6 Still Falling For You by Ellie Goulding
Just a straight bop! Ryan says, “This song would be so cool to hear in a live concert.”
I hope you all enjoy these tacks as much as we do! They are just a lot of fun for us to listen to and just have fun with each other. You guys are awesome and just know that you are known and loved by the One True God. Your time will come if you hang in there and just have faith that He has a plan for you.
